Colonial Life ranked No. 1 in customer service for disability insurance

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Nov. 26, 2018) — Colonial Life has been recognized as one of America’s Best Companies for Customer Service for 2019 by Newsweek magazine.

Colonial Life was named the top customer service provider in disability insurance.

In 2017, Colonial Life paid more than 70,000 disability claims to customers, totaling more than $210 million in claim payments.

Colonial Life was recognized for excellence in the insurance industry. The evaluation was based on an independent survey that included 132,954 customer evaluations. Brands were measured on the likelihood of customer recommendation plus evaluation criteria including quality of communications, technical competence, range of services, customer focus, and accessibility.
